Final rites were held Sunday afternoon at Jacoby Brothers Funeral Home for Maurice B. Plummer, 71, of Jerseyville whose death occurred on 26 January at Blu Fountain Nursing Home in Godfrey. Burial was in the Plummer cemetery in Calhoun County.
He was born 15 October 1901 in Calhoun County the son of George and Bessie Bassett Plummer. He had engaged in farming. Mr. Plummer had resided at Morgan Hotel. His parents preceded him in death.
